At an age where life is perplexed and at times confusing, DBI Education’s, “Point of Light Program” is designed for young people to get a grasp of their physical, mental and emotional changes. In this program, you will get to understand choices and have the opportunity to evaluate your choices versus the choices of others in the world. You will see how your choices impact your life, your family’s life, your community and ultimately the world. This program will engage you in the process of understanding your past. You will also choose ways of being, methods and tools that create answers to your questions and create the results you want.

Point of Light Teen Empowerment Workshops

• Discover Your Life – Engages youth in an experience of discovery that will remain with them for life. Students will be challenged to identify personal belief systems, breakdown of limiting thoughts and will learn the disciplines and strategies to create a life filled with satisfaction and success.

• Engage in Your Life – Is an intensive program which expands on all concepts introduced in the Discover Your Life Workshop. The action oriented and future striving activities are aligned with each individuals internally driven sense of competence so they live responsibly and are prepared to take action and make a difference in the world.

• Youth Development & Leadership – Is a program designed to positively shape the development and leadership ability of youth. Development activities focus on: Working, Learning, Thriving, Connecting and Leading. Students will also develop leadership qualities for: guiding and directing others on a course of action, influencing opinions and behaviors, assessing strengths and gaps and personal and vocational goal setting.
